Zu den FAQs

Create and edit images with Notion AI to make diagrams, flowcharts, and visual notes, then refine them with follow-up instructions. Workspace owners and admins control whether image generation is switched on for their workspace.

  • This is available for Business and Enterprise plans only.

  • Custom agents can’t generate images.

  • Generate a new image in an image block.

  • Edit an existing image with AI.

  • Chat with Notion AI to make or edit images (the chat uses key info from the page you’re viewing).

  1. Type /image on a page and press Enter.

  2. In the image block, choose the Notion AI option.

  3. Tell Notion AI what you want to create. You can also pick a style to guide the result.

  4. Generate the image, then refine the prompt until it looks right.

Note: On mobile, you can generate images only through Notion AI chat (not in image blocks, or for cover images).

  1. Hover over an image in Notion.

  2. Select the edit with AI option.

  3. Describe the change you want (for example, "change the background to a snowy afternoon," "make this look like a diagram," or "make this look more professional").

  4. Refine with extra instructions until you're happy with the result.

You can ask Notion AI in chat to make or edit an image. This works well when you want the image to reflect content on your page.

Try prompts like:

  • "Create a flowchart for the process described on this page."

  • "Make a quick infographic summarizing the key points from this doc."

  • "Turn this into a simple slide layout."

  • "Turn this screenshot into a polished diagram."
