Presentation mode

Present any Notion page as a slide deck with Presentation Mode. Presentation Mode is available on Plus, Business, and Enterprise plans.

Presentation Mode uses divider blocks to split your page into slides. Each section of content between dividers becomes one slide. The page title and icon automatically become your title slide.

You don't need to set anything up in advance, just add dividers to any existing page and present.

1. Open or create a Notion page

2. Write your content — each section will become a slide

3. Insert a Divider block between sections by typing /divider or --- on a new line

4. The first slide is always your page title (with icon, if set)

5. Open the ••• menu at the top right of the page and select Present

• Use headings to give each slide a clear title

• Keep slides focused — a heading plus a few bullet points works well

• Tables render in presentation view

• Toggles are interactive — you can open and close them during a presentation

• Empty blocks are trimmed automatically, so your slides look clean

• Comments are hidden while presenting

There are two ways to start a presentation:

• Three-dot menu: Open the ••• menu at the top right of the page and select Present

• Keyboard shortcut: Press ⌘ + Option + P on Mac or Ctrl + Alt + P on Windows/Linux

• Six-dot menu: To present from a specific block, click the ⋮⋮ symbol and choose Present from here

Your page will enter fullscreen with a zoom-to-fit view automatically.

Once in Presentation Mode:

• Use the arrow keys or on-screen navigation arrows to move between slides

• Click X or press Escape to exit and return to the normal page view

• Presentation Mode is available on desktop and web only

• Shareable presentation links are not supported

• Page cover images do not appear on the title slide

• Links are not functional during presentations

• Speaker notes are not supported
