Get started with the Notion Agents app

The Notion Agents app brings a mobile-first AI experience for capture, communication, and getting things done on the go. It's designed around Notion AI and supports key capabilities like page editing, model selection, image and file attachments, voice dictation, and Custom Agents — all built specifically for iPhone.

• The app is available for iPhones running iOS 26.0 or later. iPad and Android support are not yet available.

• AI usage and pricing for your plan also applies when using the Notion Agents app.

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone, or go here.

2. Search for Notion Agents.

3. Tap Get to download and install.

4. Sign in with your Notion account.

If you already use Notion, your workspaces and account appear automatically after you sign in.

• Chat with your Notion Agent: Ask questions, brainstorm, or draft content.

• Chat with Custom Agents: Chat with Custom Agents set up in your workspace.

• Edit pages: Create and edit Notion pages directly from AI conversations.

• Model picker: Choose your preferred AI model at the start of each conversation.

• Attachments: Share images and PDFs with AI for context.

• Voice dictation: Use voice input to send messages.

• Image generation: Create images directly in your conversations.

Chat with Notion Agent

1. Tap “Notion Agent” to change the model on any Notion Agent thread, or use a quick action.

2. Type into the chat box to start a conversation with Notion Agent.

Chat with Custom Agents

1. Click the top menu icon to open your sidebar.

2. Choose the Custom Agent you’d like to chat with.

3. Type into the chat box to start a conversation with the chosen Custom Agent. The model used will the be model chosen during Custom Agent setup.

Customizable quick-actions

By default, new threads show four quick actions: New Page, Catch Me Up, Create Image, and Brainstorm.

Attachments

Tap + to add image and PDF attachments. Granting access to your library will provide convenient access to recent images directly in the picker, but is not required.

History provides access to Custom Agents and recent chat threads. To view history, go to the menu icon in the sidebar.

From History, you can:

• Access Custom Agents: Custom Agents match the ordering set in the sidebar on Notion web and desktop. History will only show threads you’ve initiated, even if others in your workspace are also using the Custom Agent.

• Browse recent threads: Threads are grouped by last-updated time and show your most recent message below the chat title.

• Manage threads: Long press any thread to pin it to the top, rename the chat title, or delete it from history.

• Switch workspaces: Tap the workspace switcher to quickly switch between your available workspaces.

• Manage your profile: Tap your profile photo to review personal info, log out, or change the app's theme color.

• Copy user message: Long press a user message to copy its content fully or partially.

• Copy agent messages: Press the copy icon to copy the agent response.

• Available for iOS only. Android and iPad are not yet supported.

• Model selection can only be changed at the start of a conversation.

• The Notion mobile app contains AI features which may be different from the ones included in the Notion Agents app, including personalization features and instruction pages.

• For issues with AI responses, tap the thumbs down button on a response, describe the issue, and tap Send.

• If an issue occurs and you cannot use the app as expected, try restarting the app ideally with a good internet connection. If the issue persists, we recommend deleting the app and reinstalling it.
