What you can do with Custom Agents on mobile

With Custom Agents on mobile, you can quickly find agents, start or continue chats, and respond to notifications from the Notion app on iOS and Android.

Custom Agents are currently in Beta and subject to the Beta terms of your agreement.

Find a Custom Agent in your workspace

To locate and open an agent:

  1. Open the Notion app on your iOS or Android device.

  2. Open Custom Agents in your sidebar or use Notion AI to search for a specific agent by name.

  3. Tap the agent to open it.

Start a chat with a Custom Agent

To start a new conversation:

  1. Open the Notion app on your iOS or Android device.

  2. Open Custom Agents in your sidebar.

  3. Tap the Custom Agent you want to chat with.

  4. Type your message in the chat box and tap Send.

Pick up a previous chat with a Custom Agent

To pick up where you left off:

  1. Open the Notion app on your iOS or Android device.

  2. Open Custom Agents in your sidebar.

  3. Locate the agent you previously chatted with.

  4. Tap the chat thread to open it.

  5. Type your message and tap Send.

Respond to agent notifications

  1. Tap the notification.

  2. Review the message from the agent.

  3. Take the suggested action.

FAQs

Can I create a Custom Agent on mobile?

Right now Custom Agents can only be created on desktop.

Can I update or change the agent’s settings on mobile?

Not yet, agent settings are currently desktop-only.

Can I track AI credit usage from my phone?

Not at the moment. View your agent’s AI credit usage from the desktop app.
