Agent Scope Guard

Agent Scope Guard is a proactive scope-creep detection and alerting agent designed for service businesses, freelancers, studios, and project-based teams that track time against estimated hours.

It continuously evaluates project health by comparing total time logged to estimated hours and by analyzing where time is going—especially revisions and overhead (meetings + communication). When it detects warning signals (like high revision percentage, high overhead, or time usage approaching/exceeding the estimate), it assigns a clear risk level (Low/Medium/High) and generates an operational response: what triggered the alert (with exact numbers), the likely impact if nothing changes, a direct recommended next step, and a short client message you can send immediately to reset expectations.

When thresholds are met, the agent automatically logs everything into a “Scope Alerts” database using a template, creating a consistent paper trail you can use for internal decisions, client communication, and change-order conversations. If metrics are within safe range, it intentionally creates no alert—keeping noise low and alerts meaningful.
