Memochat is an AI-powered study tool that transforms ChatGPT conversations into structured study notes, flashcards, and quizzes. The Notion integration allows users to export their AI-generated study notes directly to their Notion workspace as fully formatted pages.
When a user exports notes, Memochat converts the rich HTML content — including headings, paragraphs, bullet and numbered lists, blockquotes, code blocks, tables, and inline formatting (bold, italic, code, highlights) — into native Notion blocks. A new page is created under a parent page the user has shared with the integration.
The integration uses Notion's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Users connect their Notion workspace from Memochat's settings page, selecting which pages to share. Memochat only requests the minimum permissions needed: the ability to create pages and append content to pages the user has explicitly shared. No data is read from the user's existing Notion content.
How to use
1. Sign up or log in to Memochat at https://memochat.app 2. Paste a ChatGPT shared conversation link into the dashboard and generate study notes (choose between "Summary" or "Full" mode). 3. Once the AI-generated notes are ready, open the note detail page. 4. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of the note and select "Connect Notion". 5. You will be redirected to Notion's authorization page. Select the workspace and the page(s) you want to share with Memochat, then click "Allow access". 6. After authorization, you are redirected back to Memochat's dashboard. Your Notion workspace is now connected. 7. Open any note, click the three-dot menu (⋮), and select "Export to Notion". 8. Memochat converts the note into native Notion blocks and creates a new page in your workspace. The newly created Notion page opens automatically in a new tab. 9. To disconnect, go to Dashboard → Settings and click "Disconnect Notion".
