MFA enforcement

Dalam dokumen bantuan ini

Require guests to verify their identity a second way before they can open your workspace.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) asks someone to confirm their identity with a second method, like a code from an authenticator app, in addition to their usual login. With MFA enforcement, organization owners can require MFA for guests of their workspace. This adds an extra layer of security to your workspace information.

To require MFA for guests:

  • Your workspace must be on the Enterprise Plan.

  • An organization owner must set up MFA enforcement for the Notion workspace.

Enterprise Plan organization owners can manage MFA enforcement for one workspace, or for multiple workspaces in their organization. To do this:

  1. Open the workspace switcher and select Manage organization. You may need to select Set up organization first if you haven't already. Learn more by reading Organization-level controls.

  2. In the General tab of your organization settings, select Manage MFA enforced guest workspace access.

  3. Select which workspaces should require MFA. When you're done, select Save changes.

Once this is turned on, guests in those workspaces who haven't signed in with MFA will see an extra verification screen. They'll need to complete MFA before they can keep viewing your organization's workspaces.
