Prompt

Please take each of the to-do blocks on this page and create a task in my tasks database for it. Additionally, create a project called Notion Database Automations Guide, and for each of the tasks you create, except for the ones in the general non-project tasks toggle, associate that task with that project. For every single task you create, please apply the created by AI tag, and when titling the tasks, use a sort of summary style title that is short, descriptive and indicative of what was in the actual to-do block, and then in the page body, make sure to put the exact text that was in the to-do block.

Notion AI is great at turning messy, unstructured notes into neatly organised tasks. In this case, a long Notion page full of research notes and a few interspersed to-do blocks gets transformed into both a project and its associated tasks. (Those tasks also get a “Created by AI” tag to distinguish them from your own.)

A Custom Agent profile means that Notion AI even knows which databases to refer to when creating this new project – a detail that saves Agent time spent looking through unrelated parts of your workspace. And even though the prompt asks Notion AI to summarise the task, the full, original text is inserted into the task’s page, just in case the summary doesn’t jog your memory.

Key benefits:

  • Brainstorm however you see fit, without worrying about structuring a project plan

  • Quickly generate that structured plan, right where you want it

  • Take advantage of AI while having fallbacks that distinguish its work for your own

Perfect for: researchers; writers; people who move fast and make things; teams or companies that ideate together; anyone whose mind inserts to-dos anywhere and everywhere
