What it is

Freelance TaskGuard is a scope-creep firewall that verifies real client emails, checks requests against the project contract, and automatically logs out-of-scope work with time/cost estimates and a ready-to-send (but never auto-sent) professional reply draft.

How it works

• Confirms the sender is a real client (matched in your Projects database)
• Opens the client’s project page and reads the actual contract text (inside the page body)
• Pulls out each request from the email and checks it against what’s agreed vs excluded

When it detects scope creep

• Creates a new “New Request” task under the right project
• Quotes the contract to justify why it’s out of scope (no vague reasoning)
• Estimates time + cost using your Time Impact Calculator
• Drafts a warm, professional client reply including:
  (saved as a draft for you to review—never sent automatically)
  • what they asked for
  • why it’s additional work
  • estimated hours/cost
  • timeline impact
